Ruffcup - TLtA Chapter 1

It was a quiet, summer morning when Ruffnut woke up from her sleep. Except in the Thorston household it's never quiet.

"TUFFNUT!" She yelled at her brother when she found out what he had done to her favorite clothes "YOU LITTLE BITCH, JUST WAIT UNTIL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!" She continued, throwing her favorite pair of pants at him.

God, i was planning on wearing those today, now i have to wear my skirt, she tought, pulling out her moss-green skirt, frowning a bit and putting them on, together with her white tank top.

She loved summer. Dragon training vacations, best beach season, surfing, oh, how she loved it. She walked out her room and into the kitchen, where her family was having breakfeast.

"Morning, ma', morning, pa'." She said, sitting down next to her brother and ignoring his smirk.

"Good morning, honey!" Her parents said, in unision, then laughing a bit at each other.

"What happened to your pants, sis?" Tuffnut said, looking down at his breakfeast smirking a bit.

"Oh, nothing, some idiot was just too jealous of them and cut them up." She replied, calmly looking down at her breakfeast.

"Any idea who it was?"

"I have my suspects."

"Like...?"

"None of your business, since i know you were just dying to wear my pants, but they just dont fit you." She replied, still looking down.

Silence.

She smirked and stood up.

"I'm off to do some stuff outside, ride my dragon, I don't know. Don't expect me until night." And walked out the door to her dragon, Shadow, which is a Night Fury. The Zippleback was given to Tuffnut after she found Shadow.

Anywho, she walked up to Shadow smiling, "Hey, buddy," she said, as she got to her, "are you up for a fly?" Still smiling, she patted her dragon's head.

Shadow replied with a purr and a nodd, which made Ruffnut smile and get on her. Shadow spread her wings and shot up into the sky quickly. Twirling around in the sky, Shadow dropped head first towards the ground, and when she got very close to the ground, she spread her wings once more and flew upwards, this time only gliding across the sky and through small clouds, which gave Ruffnut the oportunity to lie back and enjoy the ride.

After a while, Shadow got tired and groaned, making Ruffnut realize she was tired and order her to go down to the ground, and into a canyon, said to be where Toothless was first found. The thing was, she didn't know Hiccup and Toothless were already there.

Shadow set foot on the land and lay down under a tree and Ruff sat next to her, smoothing down her hair and looking down. Not knowing Hiccup was just across the lake, she ignored everything around her and started humming a song, which made Shadow go to sleep. When Ruffnut noticed, she smiled and just lay back on Shadow's stomach. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the light summer breeze.

"Ruffnut?" She heard a voice call her name and open her eyes.

"Oh, hi, Hiccup!" She said, smiling up at him

"What are you doing here?"

"Oh, Shadow got tired and she landed here to take a rest," she said, gesturing to her sleeping dragon, "are we bothering you?"

"No, not at all," Hiccup smiled, "I'm actually happy you're here."

"I'm glad." Ruffnut blushed a bit and smiled.

Hiccup sat down next to her and smiled.

"Are you going to the party tonight?" He asked her.

"Actually, I'm not sure, my brother ripped my pants and-"

"You know why he did that, right?"

"N-not really, why?"

"It was a request from Snotlout and his friends," Hiccup looked away, "at first Tuff didn't want it to happen but Snotlout made him do it..."

"So Tuffnut didn't mean to?"

"No, and he kept his attitude just to cover up."

"But why did Snotlout..."

"Be careful around them, Ruff. They are not reliable. And now that you're this pretty, you have to be extra careful."

She blushed and looked down, making Hiccup blush and stutter.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to embarass yo-"

"I'm flattered," Ruffnut said, and looked at him smiling, "don't worry."

He smiled, "Okay, then."

Silence again.

"Are you going to the party?"

"Yeah, Astrid is making me take her."

Ruffnut giggled.

"I'll go, you won't have to be lonely since she told me she was going to dance with every guy possible in the party."

Hiccup chuckled, "I appreciate that."

That's when Shadow woke up and purred a bit making Ruffnut look back at her and smile.

"I better go, you know how girls are, we love to take too long to get ready!" She stood up smiling and sat on Shadow's back.

"C'ya tonight!" Hiccup yelled after Shadow took off.

"C'YA!" She managed to yell before Shadow went too away.

"Astrid, you sexy bitch get out and greet your friend!" Ruffnut said, hopping off Shadow and laughing a bit, hearing Astrid laugh inside her house

"What up, bombshell?" Astrid came out of her house smiling.

"Lookin' good! Are you going to the party tonight?"

"Same there! Of course I am, and what about you?"

"Yep, I was thinking we could get ready together!"

"I was thinking the same thing," Astrid said, and smiled, "come on inside, my parents are out helping with the decoration, and I have the perfect dress for you."

"Okay," Ruffnut said and went in, "thank you by the way."

"No problem, now let's get dressed." Astrid said and smiled.
